dominattorney Posted November 11, 2020 Posted November 11, 2020 Yum. Throat cancer sticks. Lets dig in. At 16 years old, this puppy might be over the hill. Construction is solid though so it will likely be worth the journey. First third is aged leather. Kind of like a library book. Musty, intriguing, very subtly. Paired with a 20 year old armagnac, I'm getting light cinnamon and clove on the retrohale in the beginning of the second third. Over a spine of old library book and grandmas attic. Now it's more of a grandpas easy chair flavor, very musty with sharp bits of spice on the retrohale. Not unpleasant despite the metaphor. Clearly this smoke had some good qualities. However id say it was not the best cigar I've had this month, though perhaps the most unique expression of flavors you dont see everyday. Makes me want to read a first edition of Melville. All in all 9 of 10. 1
