Popular Post MrBirdman Posted October 31, 2020 Popular Post Posted October 31, 2020 I know there are some, perhaps many, who feel Cohiba are overrated. And indeed their price is getting harder and harder to justify. But when I smoke a Siglo III I always feel they’re worth every bit of their value. With three years, they exude such class, refinement, and flavor that I want to light another one up as soon as I finish. This one was no exception. It arrived in a fiver from our host, covered in “bloom” but not on the foot, and you’d certainly never know from smoking it. First third: Opening blast of dry hay, sweet citrus, and that peculiar grassy creaminess that I only find in Cohiba. Lovely. Second Third: Same as first but growing in intensity, with a woody flavor coming in Last Third: Intensity continues to build, and a coffee flavor begins to dominate, though it’s coffee infused with grassy citrus. I miss the creaminess from the early going but appreciate the development Final: The word here is consistency, and that’s what this delivered. Not remarkably different from any Sig III I’ve smoked over the last year or so - and that’s just what I want from it. 95 9
Connoisseur Kim Posted October 31, 2020 Posted October 31, 2020 That's classic lomg corona from Cohiba@MrBirdman! Wish I have a Siglo III box in my stash 나의 SM-N950N 의 Tapatalk에서 보냄 1
MrBirdman Posted October 31, 2020 Author Posted October 31, 2020 Interestingly, I just checked BR to see what aged versions are going for and, would you believe it, there has not been a single Siglo III auction on the platform yet (at least according to the advanced search function). More VI’s than you can shake a stick at, a couple Gran Reservas, even some V’s. Not that I’d ever put mine up for auction - I know @Elpresidente loves the III’s too so maybe that’s part of the explanation... 1
Fugu Posted October 31, 2020 Posted October 31, 2020 No serious smoker would ever sell his aged SigIII ? 3

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk When I was younger I was taught not to smoke mold - they were referring to smoking it on something else, mind you, but the lesson stuck ?.
