Popular Post joeypots Posted October 26, 2020 Popular Post Posted October 26, 2020 This was the last cigar from a ten count SLB. I like the Cohiba Marca and but I've had little experience with any but the Siglo and Classic range. I usually let them sit for five years before I have at them and once a box is on I'll smoke one to two a month. I liken smoking young Cohibas to infanticide. Well kept they can be exquisite, but Cohibas are too dear for me to smoke a lot of them. I'll go for Monte Cristo, H Unman, and Partagas all day long and don't feel like I'm missing anything by not smoking more expensive cigars. This Siglo VI looked great. The draw was just a tad loose. The first half was very good. Smooth with a bit of tangy tobacco. It had the cream and bean character I love about the marca. The second half was a real disapointment. The burn went wonky and I couldn't correct it. I must have tried to fix the canoeing cigar five times but one side was simply fireproof. Nevertheless less I smoked it down to a big nub because the flavor was very good . I'll give the cigar 3 stars because of the burn issue. 5 3
