kind of seems like cheating, but I wanted one of these last night after a tough week. 

Ive been making space by dumping half smoked boxes into the singles drawer. This is one of many whose progeny has been lost to me in that move. I know it's a 2016 or older box though but thats about it. 

Starts off smooth without any rough edges. Perfect construction and flavors of coffee and cake. Paired it with a fernet branca and that is a good choice. 

No transition in the second third except for an upping of intensity of the flavors. 

Star anise sneaks into the final third and a bit of a syrupy flavor emerges. All in all very enjoyable.
