dominattorney Posted September 13, 2020 Posted September 13, 2020 Decided to cut out of work early on Friday and head to the lounge for round 1 of the pyramid review weekend. We will start with a partagas series p from the singles drawer. Likely of 2015 origin. These were harsh back on the day nut time has really mellowed them out. The wrappet is toothy and conatruction and draw are perfect. First third is earthy tobbacco and starts out strong, burn line is razor sharp and ash holds well. Second third mellows and Forrest floor barnyard twang comes to the party. Mezcal and black coffee are perfect companions. Strength picks up and flavors converge into what I can only describe as "salty, sour compost heap" but in a good way. Wonderful. Smoked to the nub. 9 of 10 4
