H. Upmann Royal Robusto - BRE Jun 2017 (HURWR)*

I've been trying to work my way slowly through this box of Royal robustos as they have been stellar smokes, beautiful wrappers with lovely construction but thought it would be a good excuse to revisit as a friend I hadn't caught up with in a long time asked to meet up for a smoke.

Paired with a black coffee it went really well, cold draw was hay and first third was creamy and nutty notes with lots of smoke.

2/3 was getting more powerful and was giving some hints of sweetness, not caramel but couldn't quite put my finger on it.

Last third, tbh I wasn't as focused as the Ash was going so well I was focused on trying to get it to burn through the bands again.....but thoroughly enjoyable and always a great experience.

Impressive looking stick.  Don't know how you could focus on it with that ash, but dang!
