H. Upmann Connoisseur No.1 BRE MAR 19 (HURWR)

Picked up this box on clearance and have loved every single one of them.  Not the prettiest on arrival, but I couldn't keep my hands off them.    

Well rolled, even burn, nice ash, perfect resistance.

Definitely a one-dimensional smoke, so there won't be too much to say about its evolution.   

Started out lower medium, woody, nutty and a sweetness unlike any Upmanns I recall, and I've had quite a few.  Almost PL sugary. 

Not much complexity or richness.  Just pleasant.  No edges whatsoever.  

Into the end, she picked up a touch of strength.  Kept that uncanny sweetness to the end.  Toasted almonds and mild shortbread throughout.

I'll be going back for more.  I give it an A-.
