[Habana Mike]

It is listed as a pre-revolutionary brand on CCW so there must have been some presence.

Translates to the chain.

No tax stamp which were introduced in 1939. No union or warranty seal which were introduced in 1889. Perhaps they've fallen off....

Anillas first appeared circa 1870 and guessing these had bands given the rest of the packaging, off chance guess from 1875-1889.

Appears to be in very good condition regardless the age.

Doesn't appear in the Havana Cigars 1817-1960 tome.

Very little information I can find beyond that.

Possible the seals are missing but both tax and warranty gone are unlikely but the box is dressed in a very modern style with bofeton so I would speculate it's not pre-1889. Pic of the bottom for any manufacturing stamp could help.

Ha! Actually, it does in that it gives more weight to it being pre-1889. Although that box is in absolutely remarkable condition for anything that old.

Loooong time ago. Might be some info about that in the Urivazo book @Habana Mike has which I also have access to but not at the moment. But it's not a definitive dating method in most cases.
