El Presidente Posted July 12, 2020 Posted July 12, 2020 Interesting box. Can our forum historians tease some detail from the stamps and seals? 1
JohnS Posted July 12, 2020 Posted July 12, 2020 Going off Cuban Cigar website the box stamp is pre-Revolution (I checked this time...twice!) and the Warranty seal is post-1931. So going off those two bits of information that La Marca box is dated between 1931 and 1961. I'll leave it to other more knowledgeable members to whittle the date down further...

Give me a couple of days. Just came across an interesting looking book covering Havana Cigars from the early 1800's until the revolution. Hoping this is the MRN of pre-Castro Habanos.... 1
NSXCIGAR Posted July 12, 2020 Posted July 12, 2020 Obviously 31-61. There seem to be quite a few surviving boxes out there in very good condition which makes me speculate that these were probably a lower-end cigar and popular closer to 61 than to 31. 1
