Bolivar pc (CM)

don't know what year or code this one is from, as I pulled it from the singles drawer. 

Had a box of these up for grabs on my wedding day and they were a big hit. This is one that consistently punches above its weight class. Since I've been quarantined with my wife for the past 6 weeks, we fired one up out back by the fire after dinner and reminisced. 

Like an old friend, cocoa and leather predominate in this one, with coffee coming through with some nice undertones on the first third. 

Second third sees the coffee flavors build nicely in this well constructed stick. Hate to say it but the cigar, other than my recollection as the cigar we smoked at our wedding, does little to bring back memories. For that, we would need the grateful dead, as a friends very able band supplied the tunes all night that were the real high notes for my wife and I.  I might have smoked one entire cigar that evening, but it wasn't the same one. People kept passing me lit stogies that I wouldn't have time to finish. The night was more about dancing and catching up with friends than relaxing with a smoke.

 

Final third finished off like a dark mocha. Nubbed it and tossed it.  Lovely evening with the wife. Great idea for a review. 90 of 100

Great review. I just ordered a box of these.  I am looking forward to see how this PC holds up to bolivar cj.
