NickV Posted April 24, 2020 Posted April 24, 2020 Hey guys, Was curious if you all store your cigars in the humidor to age with the plastic or tube or if you always store them unwrapped? I have been storing mine in the wrapper/tube, wondering if I should unwrap them.
Colt45 Posted April 24, 2020 Posted April 24, 2020 These days I rarely acquire tubed or cello wrapped cigars, but when I have, I store them with the cello on or in the tube (closed). I don't really think you'd be wrong either way.
Skypilot Posted April 25, 2020 Posted April 25, 2020 I keep them how they came. If they have cello or tubes they stay there. If they came in a box I keep them in the box until only a handful are left and then they get moved in with the other singles. The one exception is cardboard packs. I take those out and put the cigars in the single drawer. I bought some siglo iv and esplendidos in 5 and 3 packs respectively that I though smelled like the cardboard after a few months. I didn’t like that so in the drawer they went with the other lone soldiers.
