Popular Post joeypots Posted April 20, 2020 Popular Post Posted April 20, 2020 I was surprised to see that the last 5 star cigar I smoked was a Ramon Allones Specially Selected from a cabinet of 50. Like many here I've been smoking quite a few rainy day cigars because, well, if we aren't having rainy days lately, I don't know if we ever will. These robustos are particularly good. The RASS needs some time to come into its own and this cab is there. They are medium Colorado, tightly packed, and have a perfect draw. I wish every cigar was constructed like this one. I used a punch rather than chop it with a guillotine. I wanted to smoke it slowly and savor all of the cigar. Smoking time was about an hour fifteen. The cigar was nutty right out of the gate. Other than that it was a great potent smooth smoke that satisfied right to the end. Smoking indoors allows one to retrohale the smoke and let a little of cloud of smoke envelope your head. Definitely a good way to savor the cigar and get a good nicotine buzz to boot. 5Stars for sure. The accompanying beverage was black coffee my new Zojirushi travel cup. This thing is amazing, it keeps a beverage hot all day. No kidding, it almost keeps tea or coffee too hot. 7
