Partagas Series E2 UAO DIC 17 (R90)

Lovin' on these Laguito E2s.  I don't usually grade on a 100 point scale, but if I did the E2 would almost always hit the 90+ range.     

Beautiful smooth, oily wrapper.  Even construction and densely packed.  Hefty.  

Starts out with complex, earthy, leather, wood toasted tobacco, medium body.  Rich and well balanced.     

As it picks up a wee bit of strength, she developed some creaminess, almond and light sweetness.  A little spice develops.  

Great burn; great follow through.  Remained medium throughout with a serious richness until the final stages. 

Yeah.  I like these. . .  a lot.  But I have found the Laguitos were better in construction and flavor than others I've had.     

A 93, if I must.

Nice review. I had my first E2 about a month ago and was shocked how good it was. Much better than Lusi in my opinion

I have a 5er of that code that I haven't cracked yet.  I will have to try them. I also have a few 5ers of MSU ABR 18.  Haven't had one in 8 or 8 months but remember thinking then they need some time.

You know, I thought about that myself.  They're kinda mellow anyway.  I think you ought to crack the UAO and see if you still think they need time.

I think of have about 20 fivers of these ranging from UAO MAR 18 to UAO ABR 19 and have a 15 pack of tubos UAO NOV 18. I have not tried one yet and going to let them them age at least 3 -4 years but anxiously waiting to try one with all of the good things I hear about them.?
