Review- Punch 48- LGR OCT 18

2018 Punch 48
  Pretty boojie cigar to smoke on a Tuesday evening but screw it, Daddy deserves it for whatever reason we tell ourselves. Traded for this box with a fellow member of the forum, @BuzzArd. Great fella. Wrapper isn’t flawless by any means but is an attractive cigar.

1st 1/3- very floral, heavy peanut, and mineral character. Strong in flavor. Medium in strength.

2nd 1/3- dominantly peanut (up my alley big time), floral fading, slight bitter chocolate 
Wrapper had a slight blow up. Way too delicious to abandon. Smoked right through it.

Last 1/3- bitter chocolate picks up, overall bitterness with its age starts to show. Peanut fades into the background. Licorice coming through in the aftertaste. Strength goes medium-full. Cigar is laid to rest because daddy now has a craving for Doublestuffed Oreos.

Easily give this cigar a 92-93 rating. If the opportunity presents its self, more will be bought- especially a 2019 year box.

You won’t be disappointed. It’s honestly the only Cuban punch I am fond of. I recently scored a box of 8-9-8 in the 10s?. Which I am excited about though.

I grabbed a box last year LGR FEB 19.   I smoked one in October.   Will definitely have to smoke another one soon.

Nice review! I keep meaning to pick up a box or two of these and never do.  I tried one in Havana last year and loved it.  Peanut butter is right!
