Trinidad cigarillos (SSSTRW)

Good afternoon all. I accidentally fired up a lgdc mdno4 yesterday, mistakenly believing it was a sadly, and thought I missed the weekend. Oops, the mind is a fragile thing. Then I realized a client gifted me a pack of trinidad cigarillos and all was not lost. 

No, I have no idea if these are real. Yes, I was grateful regardless. Double yes I was grateful that I remembered they were in my humidor when I left the office and got word that colorado officially repealed the death penalty. One of these babies for the road it is! I dont want to wax political. I have always believed that certain people do indeed deserve to die. However, my mistrust of the government wins out in the end. I am staunchly against the death penalty as it has long proven itself divorced from reality and fairness. All life is precious, and I light this thin shorty for my drive home in celebration that among the chaos of the past weeks, Colorado's government has finally recognized that killing in the name of the people is a relic of a bygone era.

From the two I've smoked previously I dont expect much by way of complexity. It tastes like a classier al Capone sweet, minus the sweet. I dont have any other cuban cigarillos to compare it to, so let's just chalk this one up to the novelty of the day. All in all, so far my life could be worse. I hope everyone else is weathering the storm as beat they can. Cheers.

I've smoked more of the Cohiba shorts, but I definitely like these little guys for a quick smoke.  This actually reminded me that I'm running low on shorts and need to order a brick ?  Yum.

Smoked my first of these from a pack I picked up in Dubai duty free. Like the Cohiba shorts they are very one note, but given their size that's to be expected. Cohiba shorts are always a big punch of lemon grass for me, these were a big punch of leather. Certainly think they're worthwhile for size/price point.

Agree re, punch of leather. Not much else.
