So, for entrants, or sideline viewers with goals of your own, what’s your motivation? Goal? Plan? Kryptonite?
ive just moved into a new apartment and this one has a lap pool and a small gym. My target is to swim and gym 4-5 times a week. Swim in mornings and gym in afternoons after work.
My goal is reduce my belt fat and improve general fitness. I used to work on mine sites and was coming for me to walk 20k steps and 30-40 flights of stairs a day. Now I’m a desk jockey in a city job and not anywhere near as active so my weight has gone. Well not so much weight increase but more my leanish body before is now just all blubber. So I’d like to lose maybe 5 kilos but I wouldn’t be sad if I leaned the body and stayed the same weight or gained a bit.
My food intake is generally good. Never eat fast food. I cook at home with good ingredients and little oil so not changing that side really.

I'm not officially in the comp, of course, but I'm aiming for a loss of 7.5kgs. This time hoping to stick to a more balanced diet and exercise routine on the other side of it. And I'm also planning to do a bit of muscle toning (assuming I have any left to tone, lol) this time. :help:

My biggest form of kryptonite is always alcohol. And routine in general around this stuff is another. ??

I don't have any sort of regular strict plan, I basically fall into the keto diet thing without actually planning it that way. No loaf bread at all. Light meals during the day, snack size stuff (weetbix or muesli brekky, strawberries, grapes, nuts, tuna on crispbread, etc). And pretty much purely protein main meal at night. And for exercise I just walk as much as I can. Worked crazy well last time - lost 20kgs over the course of the FB comp! :spotlight:

Almost put them all back on again, too. :cofcig:

Fence sitter - can't just go for 7 or 8?

Only a man who wears obnoxious yellow ties in public would seek such a distinction. ;)

Haters gonna hate!

And the tie, while somewhat ostentatious, was nowhere near as obnoxious as the wearer....

My motivation:  Simple.  I'm a Phys. Ed. teacher and one of my 2nd grade students asked me the other day if I eat a lot when I get home and is that why I'm fat.  Haha kids say the darndest things.

My kryptonite:  I'm a stress eater so tough day at work=tough sticking to it

My plan:  Walking 3 miles/day and biking once spring roles around

Goal:  Looking down and seeing things I've not seen for a while

I'm not in this year just purely down to a lot of stuff on my plate at the moment (hur de hur), but I'm at the start of a readjustment after a few injuries so slowly getting into new exercises and stretching etc

So far I'm 5 days in the egg, steak and wine diet and gone from 12 stone 10 to just a smidge over 12, only a week long boost but it's enjoyable so far!

Still going to the gym every day. Swim/Eliptical trainer in the mornings and weights in the afternoons after work. I can do heaps more laps now and go further distances/times on the trainer now! Minor setback this week as i did a serious cut of my finger and have ot keep it dry while it heals for a week or so. So just doing bike and eliptical trainer for a while. ?
