Humidor Sorting

Haven't posted here in so long - Life got in the way of smoking and my humidors were in a mess (I have a 100ish count proper Humidor and a medium tupperdor). Because i want smoking more than 1 cigar every odd month, I had forgotten what was even in them. 

Bought a new 12 pack of 65% Boveda, and arranged both and changed out all the humidity packs.  Sharing here as It was such a pleasure to look through (fairly miniscule) the inventory and trying to get some selection process in the Proper humidor, and store the additional sticks in their boxes in the Tupperdor.

Each stick/box has a story for example - the Ramon Allones that has my daughters birth year/month and i smoke only after her party. 

Scoff at people who think Cigars are just for smoking, they can give much more.  So i share with a group of fine people who will get what i am trying to say 

Put this on as my phone wallpaper now so I can make up my mind on what to reach for when the mood strikes. 

Also FTW, RH was 63% on both analog and digital \o/

I resorted all my airtight boxes the other day into broad marcas. Satisfying.

I don't think you should be putting NCs with CCs in the same box. The NC smell is overpowering

I would agree, but not necessarily for the taste.  I find CC smoke best around 63/64% and NC at 69%. 

I tried smoking some NC at 64% and they were just too harsh.  

My neighbor is a big cigar smoker too and he brought back some CC from Canada.  Unfortuniately I forgot to tell him about the difference in RH storage.  He told me the BBFs he brought back were all plugged.  I then asked him about his storage and broke the news to him, and promptly gave him a BBF from stash to try.  He told me after thinking about it, he concluded his were not plugged but over humidified.
