Ashton VSG (XNYRC)

I every now and then go back to Ashton's despite sometimes the price point being a bit higher than I feel they are worth. Having said that, when you can find them on sale or a special deal on them, they are a fantastic purchase. The construction is always flawless, as it was this time. The burn, again, pinpoint. The ash held for just about half of the smoke. Draw, fantastic. I generally like to have a port or similar to pair with the sun grown beauty. Something sweet on the retro-hale similar to a light molasses. Strong earthy tobacco taste throughout. Solid 89/100

I love the ESG, but I agree with you on the price point of Ashtons.

They're good to great cigars but when you find them on a deal or sale their price point is perfect.

Of all the NC cigars mentioned, I used to actually smoke these. I may have a 20 yo (+-) box around here somewhere! -LOL

VSG is probably my favorite NC ever, but just too expensive to ever be a regular.

Love vsg, especially the torpedo one. Thats the one that got me into cigars.

When I'm at the Fuente lounge in vegas I usually get the house roll, which in price isn't much different haha
