Popular Post canadianbeaver Posted December 28, 2019 Popular Post Posted December 28, 2019 Well we are here in Las Vegas and for the first time visiting Casa Fuente. After reading about this place with cigar guys for over 10 years, just had to go, you know? It is very nice and found wonderful rye to accompany rare, lovely Destino al Siglo. But thought this was going to be a lounge, not a bar. This level of Opus X, pretty much the only NC that takes up room in my humi coolidors, is wonderful. The bands themselves are great. $35 a stick but lit only once. Nice. Note the bottle of my drinkin’. Found a few of these high octane numbers over the holiday. Me likee. I do not reflect well on the particular notes as I smoke, sorry. I go into a hypnotic haze. Just can say it was fab and recommend. Will be checking out other lounges tomorrow like Davidoff or Montecristo. Montecristo in Nashville was great. Cheers y’all. CB 15
BoliDan Posted December 28, 2019 Posted December 28, 2019 I have that same short that your husband is wearing. How does it compare to a regular FF OX? 1
cigcars Posted December 28, 2019 Posted December 28, 2019 *I wanted the Casa Fuente cigar that could only be gotten at the Casa Fuente bar in Las Vegas. They cost me $32 apiece and I ordered two of them. Very enjoyable smokes - and AGAIN...prefer most any premium cigars and Arturo Fuente cigars to their Opus X's, Lost Cities, etc. Have tried them all multiple times: no impressive enjoyment out of them at all. They are good smokes, and full of quality, I can tell; they just don't do anything for ME 1

The “twenty year series” seems to be mellower than typical OX cigars like XXX or BBMF etc. I like a smaller pyramid or Robusto in these as they can be very bold? Unlike our beloved CC’s, the boxes do not seem to be clearly marked for dates like this commemorative humidor I own half full of this stuff. Or another one with coffins. CB 1

Fuente is worth it. Amazing sweet spice sticks. Full of cinnamon. Nice collection. 1
canadianbeaver Posted December 29, 2019 Author Posted December 29, 2019 Made this evening a smoking date at Montecristo lounge in Las Vegas and it was wonderful. Chatted with guys and ladies at the bar.
KFBR392 Posted December 29, 2019 Posted December 29, 2019 My favorite bourbon! Great choice. Greater taste. Was there last month and had a casa Fuente lancero. One of my favorite smokes. 1
joey rockets Posted December 31, 2019 Posted December 31, 2019 The last time I was in Vegas, the most expensive Casa Fuente was $25 so I'm showing my age? Fuente was my preferred NC marca until I started buying mostly CCs although I recently purchased a box of Hemingway Signatures. Another poster mentioned the Hemingway line which I have long considered to be a good value. Before Castro owned Cuba, Arturo Fuente was already doing great things in the DR. 1
