I put two linked adjustable computer fans, running on one ac plug, in a cooler. I paid less than $20. I think you would need at least two of the xikar and maybe one wired computer fan for your size cooler.

Good point it will be too weak...I had that concern. Does anyone have an idea of a battery powered fan that's more powerful and could do the same thing i.e. turn on for 15 second every 15 or 30 minutes. I know I could set one up probably via an arduino or something along that but trying to avoid that.

This thread makes me miss my Oust fans. They were perfect for the job and dirt cheap. Ran them on rechargeable batteries. Sadly my baby bro decided to put the Oust cartridges in them and use them around the house thus ruining them.

I started with the Oust. I also have some RV fridge fans that work great in deep coolers.

The Humifans are garbage. Rig up CPU fans. MUCH MUCH better. They are also versatile enough and you could make them run on batteries or use an outlet. Lots of different ways to set them up, and very simple to do.

This^^ Use 120mm USB PC fans like Thermaltake Mobile Fan 12 instead, since PC fans are more powerful than XIKAR Humifan! ?

If I can do without starting a house fire, you should have no trouble.
