Week 13 is in the books. It's still close at the top of our leaderboard!

Hot Takes

1. Winning streaks

[Boston Sports] Tom Brady and Julian Edelman will attempt to keep their incredible streak of NEVER losing a game to an AFC opponent, in the regular season, at Gillette Stadium, in a game they both played in (42-0). The streak has lasted 10 Years, 2 months.

Can Kansas City break the streak? New England rarely lose 2 in a row.

2. Historically bad

[Schneidman] The two teams with the least punt return yards will meet at Lambeau this Sunday. 31st place: Redskins with 90. 32nd place: Packers with -8

The Packers could end the season as the only team in history with negative punt return yards.

3. Good form

[Brandt] How good has Ryan Tannehill been for the Titans? Historically good. With 2+ passing TD and a 125+ passer rating on Sunday, he will join Russell Wilson as the only players with 4+ consecutive games to throw 2+ pass TD with a 125+ passer rating in NFL history.

Is Tannehill the new FitzMagic? Or is he here to stay?

4. Learning curve

[PFF] Kyler Murray’s rushing ability is usually a benefit, but it can also be a detriment by leading to more sacks. Kyler Murray is personally responsible for 19 sacks this season, while the offensive line is responsible for 11 sacks.

Kyler Murray is having a good rookie season. He needs to learn not to push the envelope moving forward.

5. Good changes

[AllanBell247] The NFL field goal success rate is 79.9%, down from 84.7% last season. That’s the biggest percentage drop off in the NFL year-to-year since the merger. Extra points are being made at a clip of 93.2%, the worst in the NFL since 1979. #NFL100

I think the recent rule changes have made the game more interesting. Maybe not for us Bucs fans who are haunted by poor kicking in recent years.

ben, you might be aware that since the dimwits at the skins finally stopped trey quinn returning (seriously, the bloke would struggle to beat me - he looks like he is running in treacle) and given it to sims, we are smashing it. first full field return for a TD in 4 years. woohoo.

if i was the pack, i'd be running scared. the skins on track to win the NFC East. i know, stranger things...
