Popular Post 99call Posted November 24, 2019 Popular Post Posted November 24, 2019 Just picked this up and I'm pretty stoked, as I've never seen this before on the Ramon Allones box stamp. It appears to be some masonic symbolism and also the 'Eye of Providence' I think this date from between 1845 and 1900. Would love to work out, if this was the standard stamp, back then, or whether is was a one off addition. 6
El Presidente Posted November 24, 2019 Posted November 24, 2019 Fantastic pick up Andy Ryan may have an idea but he is away for a few more days (on his way home from Havana). 1

Love the fact that the labels on the base, hint towards the milky green of Ramon Allones that soon to come as standard in the early RA
NSXCIGAR Posted November 24, 2019 Posted November 24, 2019 I believe the RA factory was relocated from Calle Animas to Galle Galiano in 1899 so it would be 19th century. I believe that was the standard RA stamp logo and know prints of that logo sell for $20-30 so there's some value there. For any other info you'd have to ask a pre-Rev specialist. Pre-Rev info is hard to come by and 19th century info even harder. 2
