My name is Derek; I'm from Knoxville, Tn.  I've been lurking around here for a little bit as a guest, but recently decided to 'make it official'.

Hello again,

Just wanted to amend this post and tell you all a little bit more about myself while I have a few minutes to pontificate.  As stated above, my name is Derek; I'm from Tennessee.  I'm 37 years old, and have been smoking cigars for around 20 years--mostly to celebrate special occasions or to commemorate events (part-timer).  Around 5 years ago I started a humble collection, slowly but surely adding new sticks and new containers as the old ones filled up, eventually putting together a relatively large collection of NCs and CCs.  As a US resident, I started experimenting with and collecting non-Cubans, so that is where a good portion of my knowledge lies.  I have been collecting CCs for about a year, and have become somewhat familiar with the regular Cubano catalog, but am interested in learning more about/experimenting with some of the more limited/special Cuban offerings.  I have been active on cigar forums for a while (reddit, facebook, etc.) but just recently discovered the FOH forum... looking forward to shooting the sh** with you guys.

Skill set:

• Starting fires
• Spotting fake Cohibas from vast distances
• Long-filler-Lincoln-Logs-chamipion
• Telekinetic humidity control
• X-ray vision (no need to open lid prior to extraction)
• My fist is a cigar cutter
