Cohiba Siglo IV ARS MAR 2019 (COHRW)

I purchased this clearance from our host maybe late May. Only a “few boxes” was the selling point. 
I had only smoked one Siglo IV before and it was a Tubo and I didn’t like it. Maybe a 70 pt cigar. Wrapper was very dark kinda like @SigmundChurchill is speaking of with his LE’s light vs dark. It was all burnt tobacco and some coffee not good for what I have come to know as a Cohiba marca at all. 
to be honest I think I was 1/2 in the bag  when I bought them and told myself why not. 
these wrappers are all light and clean, beautiful specimens. 
1st third hay and honey and super fresh clean tobacco. Very nice. From the first draw was stellar. 

2nd third was my first ash 57 minutes in. Every draw was hay then coffee then Cuban twang/ sour but clean. No heat no harshness at all for being so young. It evolved amazing to be honest. Was just fantastic. It was the same pattern every draw it changed as stated. Remarkable honestly. 

final 3rd out came the hay in spades and super super clean tobacco just marvelous. The hay was of an amazing type clean and fresh not like a stale old circus. Just glorious. 

finish stayed the same. Hay coffee on and off twang and clean tobacco. 
3 ashes and 100 minutes of pure joy. Burn was not perfect but always caught itself to where it should be. 
I would say easily the best cigar is the year for me so far. 
94 all day. Honestly I can’t find any fault in it I just never smoked anything higher and hate to go so far off the charts but if this cigar is a sign of what is to follow it was the best purchase I have made so far. Thanks @Elpresidente

compared to a Siglo VI more full and not as rich. smoke output was sooooo thick. Like clouds. To be honest this size if my favorite I am a corona gorda whore.

I figured after 90 days down it was time to try 1. I definitely smoked it slow, very slow and it had zero youth taste. Give it a shot !

Nice review.  Never had any Siglo. I’ve just acquired some VI tubos, but I love the corona gorda size as well.  Guess the IV is on the list now.  ??
