Today in the morning I received a box of PSP RASS from FOH from a 24:24 last week. Just in time for this weekend's review! With no dry-boxing (I generally find it not 100% important as it arrives in perfect smoking condition)

I've only ever had one previous box so my experience with RASS is slightly limited. However, this PSP is significantly tastier than what I had previously.

ROTT this cigar (and the rest of the box) smells of stewed dark fruits - plums, raisins, apricots, prunes.

The cold draw is similar to the box smell.

In the first 1/3, there is some hints of stout along with grapes, deep sherried whisky (like old macallan).

Approaching the second 1/3, notes of semi-dark chocolate appear. Raisins get more prominent too. Nutty flavours are present.

The cigar is canoeing now - I'm not sure to blame my gf (she didn't light it well from the start - more training needed!), or the fact that I didn't drybox/turn it. Using a lighter to correct the burn now.

In the final 1/3, the fruits are less pronounced and I am tasting the cold brew I had this afternoon. Bitter (in a pleasant way) coffee flavours.

Overall a really pleasant smoke. 82/100

Your description (a good one) seemed mismatched to your 82 rating.  I would consider an 82 "ready to chuck."  This sounded like a pleasant smoke.

It indeed was a pleasant smoke. On my scale, 80-90 would be classified as good, while 90+ are differing levels of excellence.

On second thought, this morning I may put it at 84 instead!

Did you say you’re training your girl to light your cigars for you?

Certainly. She was an ex cigarette smoker who quit smoking until I introduced her into the world of cigars. Keeps wanting to share my smokes now .. so she's gotta contribute too!
