FatPete Posted May 16, 2020 Posted May 16, 2020 Anyone seen the Jose L Piedra releases yet? Realistically they're probably the only ones I'm able to go for knowing the current pricing trends. 1

Realistically they're probably the only ones I'm able to go for knowing the current pricing trends. Regular production has been reasonable for new releases, although I have noticed prices seem to be about 5-10% higher when they hit vendors and fall over the course of 12-18 mos. I noticed this with all the new Upmann releases, Cohiba MS, Trini Vigia among others.
NSXCIGAR Posted June 6, 2020 Posted June 6, 2020 Looks like some vendors have the Connie 2 at 51 RG and 131mm, so just a notch smaller than an Edmundos. I can get on board with that depending on pricing. I'm not looking to pay more than about 10% more than Connie 1 so under $8/stick. 1
maverickdrinker Posted June 7, 2020 Posted June 7, 2020 The Trinidad, Montecristo and Punch look interesting. Will be curious what the ring gauges will be for monte and punch. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

The Monte Herederos debuted a couple months ago. 57 x 6 3/8": https://cigar-coop.com/2020/03/cigar-news-montecristo-herederos-launched-at-xxii-festival-del-habanos.html Not going to be cheap, I assure you. The Trini Robustos Extra will be in some kind of special format for Duty Free. Travel humi or some other expensive packaging no doubt. I suspect the Punch Triunfos are going to be part of the Linea Retro in 5 tins. Probably a Marevas.

Basically a 1/2 " short of a Churchill. I like that size. Just shows how bad things are when 57 RG didn't trigger an alarm with me. 1

This is getting out of hand. I’m literally appalled. I would buy that kind of cigars it’s for the sake of comedy, something to laugh at with my friends, not for actual enjoyment.

We've had two 58s. Just a matter of time.
