So I picked up a 6 pack of Siglo V the other week while they were up on 24:24.

They came today and just on the nose, I got hints of red grape, such as the kind you would get at the grocery store.

I was very surprised. Not at all upset.

I cant wait to see how they develop after laying them down for a year or two.

Whats your experience with the Siglo V?

Don't think I've experienced this flavor in a cigar before. I usually get the typical Cohiba flavors as I get in most of the other Siglo series. But it's been awhile...will have to revisit! Thanks for reminding me.

Sometimes in the fresh waterlogged custom-rolled cigars I feel the taste of red wine fermentation. I think Your cigars need a little rest.

Sounds lovely, I get a subtle touch of green grape skin reasonably often in a few different cigars; that sweetness combined with a hint of metallic, but not before in Cohiba. LFDC seems pretty consistent with it, or at least the only marca which has it as a regular flavour for me.

Let us know if you pick it up when lighting one up!
