I bought these a while back with age already on them.  So far the box has been hit or miss.  This one looks great, and I'm excited to jump in.  The draw is perfect - something I seem to get more of out of SLB boxes.  There are hints of cream, and maybe even a little nutty flavor.  All flavors are still muted, which is a problem I typically have with HDM.  They tend to be light in body and flavor.  I like lighter-bodied cigars but there needs to be more flavor.  This is also one dimensional, and doesn't change much throughout.  By the end I may have heated it up a little too much...tried too hard to get flavors that just weren't there.  I still like these alright, and will smoke one when I want something very light.  But it's not a go to for when I want a flavor bomb.  Rating: 89.

Nice review - I agree they can be hit and miss. When they are on they are one of my favourites but I do hit some duds unfortunately.

@shippers what about HDM DC?  Less hit or miss?  I've always wanted to buy a box but don't want to risk the coin for them to be potentially as flat as other HDMs I've smoked.

Not had the DC - I would like to try some but they are harder to find than the Party Lusitanias which I enjoy a lot so why bother!
