So I 3d printed some.  I didn't design these I downloaded the model off of Thingiverse.   It is pretty cool what you can make with 3d printers.  The cap is threaded so it screws into the body the print for both the body and the cap only took 2 hours.

Curious what the “cost” is to print something like this. Are material cost cheap and what about the printer?

The cost of the material is about $0.25.   The printer cost about $240.

There are 3d printers at some libraries.   They just charge you by the amount of filament your print takes.
