Found a new ashtray

When is the last time that a 7 year old made their dad a ceramic ashtray in art class?  My god the teacher would be tasered for allowing it and the child councelled for their remaining school years 

While smoking may not be in fashion in oz........thankfully ashrays must still be the easiest thing to make. 

Found this cracker surfboard ashtray yesterday for $15.  It will be my summer holiday companion from here on in 

 

Went for a fish yesterday afternoon. 

The summer beach crowd was insane 

I stopped travelling to overseas beach destinations years ago. Nothing really matches Oz.

We are taught in the States that Australian beaches have little octopi that can kill you in an instant.

 

The beaches were crowded but most people got bit by these baby octopi.

They mostly bite tourists here.

All of my childhood clay projects started out as a Michelangelo and finished as an ashtray. 

I wonder if David started out as an ashtray. . .
