I asked him where he got them and he said he was approached by a broker who was able to arrange to get some Cohibas at half price. If he was my friend I would have broken the news to him gently. Since he was an acquaintance I said congratulations and left it alone. My general rule, if it's a friend I will tell them. If it is an acquaintance I just leave it alone.
