Popular Post havanaclub Posted December 17, 2018 Popular Post Posted December 17, 2018 One of my favourite cigars and this was a true pleasure to smoke on the weekend as I paired it with some small batch 1792 bourbon. Draw was spot on, nice firm pack with a smooth rosado, oily wrapper. Construction and performance was excellent. 1st: bread, leather, coffee 2nd: the shortbread picked up as well as the intensity of the cigar. Just so rich in flavour, you can tell they use premium tobacco. 3rd: woody, bread and more bread. I don’t know if I have had a Connie A with so much intensity of the classic upmann shortbread. I had a SW the previous week that was exceptional but wasn’t as full bodied as the Connie A. Could easily say I preferred this sample to the SW. Cheers FoH. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 4 1
99call Posted December 17, 2018 Posted December 17, 2018 Great review, looks like a nice oily example. One of the very few big cigars, that has the big bold flavour to suit its format 1
Cayman17 Posted December 17, 2018 Posted December 17, 2018 Great review. I enjoyed a recent Connie A more than a SW as well. 1
