Hot Takes

1. Ouch.

The Jags are on a 7 game losing streak and it might have something to do with this...

[Wingo] Blake Bortles was the 3rd overall pick in the 2014 draft. Since that time he leads the league in interceptions, total turnovers and pick sixes thrown. Pretty much the last triple crown you ever want to own as a QB.

2.  Underated

Philip Rivers must be one of the most underrated players of all-time. No rings, No superbowls but jeez he's been consistently playing at a high level the entirety of his career. I'm glad to see him get some recognition after his most recent performance. Hopefully the Chargers can make a run this year.

[NFL] Philip Rivers, who went 28-for-29 with 3 TDs and set the NFL record for best completion percentage in a game (96.6%),

3.  Pass happy

JuJu Smith-Schuster will be 22 years and 10 days old on Sunday, and he only needs 28 yards to become the youngest player ever to reach 2,000 receiving yards in his career ****Huge asterix here. It's a pass happy league and 8/10 of those guys have come into the league in the last 5/6 years.

For reference, here are the top 10 in receiving yards before 22 years and 10 days old in NFL history:

Player    Rec Yds
JuJu Smith-Schuster    1972
Randy Moss (HOF)    1313
Amari Cooper    1070
Mike Evans    1051
Keenan Allen    1046
Sammy Watkins    982
Aaron Hernandez    937
Paul Warfield (HOF)    817
Josh Gordon    805
DeAndre Hopkins    802

4. My pick for Superbowl champs are coming along nicely.

[NFL Research] The Texans 8-game win streak is the longest in franchise history. The 8-game win streak is the longest after an 0-3 start in NFL history. Deshaun Watson has 39 pass TD in his first 18 career games, the 3rd-most since 1950.

5. Who said the RB was dead?

Saquon Barkley is on pace to become just the 3rd rookie in NFL history to reach 2,000 yards from scrimmage. Barkley is currently averaging 128 yards from scrimmage each game. At that pace he'd finish the year just over 2,000 yards, and join Eric Dickerson and Edgerrin James as the only rookies in NFL history with over 2,000 yards from scrimmage.

ignoring your father's idiocy, the texans only have that streak because of corrupt officials who dudded the skins. why these morons then come out and say well whoops, well stuffed that but tough luck is beyond me. but crap happens.

what is telling in your list of WRs, 3rd on that list was considered so poor that his team traded him. what does that say?

I think it is going to be very hard for the Redskins to remain at the top of their division and make the playoffs.  Had such hope.  :tantrum:

In all fairness to Cooper his first two years in the league he had 1000 yard seasons and he already looks good for the Cowboys. Gruden just has no intention of winning anytime soon.

Yea.  The Foster thing is a head scratcher.  Am guessing they are betting on him being able to come back next year.

Just read this morning that the Bucs are giving away tickets due to 8 year low in attendance.  Time to get back on the plane El Pres!
