H Upmann Half Corona MEG FEB 17 Smoke and Drink pairing review

Another work time small format cigar and coffee session review.

Today pairing the half corona with a nespresso pod of Paris Black.

Cold draw gives cocoa and light cedar.

·         1/3 - Chocolate, spice and faint waft of cedar as well.

·         2/3 - A little cream, spice, cocoa and caramel

·         3/3 – Some nut, spice, cocoa and caramel.

Overall impression is that this is such delicious cigar. Medium body and flavour packed!! Even though the burn went astray very enjoyable.

The coffee compliment very well and as taken in black espresso format IMO brings out some of the sweeter profiles in the cigar. 

I would happily light another and go again....

Nice review on a winter Cuban short smoke for cold days

I find myself reaching for HUHCs even when I have time or it isn’t cold. These are the only H. Upmann cigars I have tried. Is the flavor profile consistent through the brand? Any to avoid?

Really enjoy these in the morning with an Americano when I’m short on time.

Definitely recommend that you try the some of the other offering from the Upmann line Brian. I enjoy all of the upmann varieties that I have tried. There are some subtle differences in there too.

Sorry Miguel but I haven't actually tried a regalias, so can't give you an answer to that mate.
