1. Firesale

There's a firesale going on at the Raiders and NY Giants as both teams continue the race to the bottom. Gruden now has 3 first rounders for the next draft and the Giants are looking to increase their draft capital. Contenders are lining up round the block to take pieces that will solidify their championship run. 

2. Does being a great player = great talent evaluator

Since John Elway joined the Broncos' front office in 2011 he's drafted five quarterbacks. None are still on the roster. Brock Osweiler (2012), Zac Dysert (2013), Trevor Siemian (2015), Paxton Lynch (2016), Chad Kelly (2017)

3. Bucs vs Browns madness

Browns entered their 4th OT game for the year in which they are 1 W,  1 D and 2 L . Tampa Bay kicker Chandler Catanzaro's 59-yarder is the longest game-winning field goal in overtime since the regular-season overtime rule was instituted in 1974.

4. Completion % on the rise

Of QBs with 100 attempts, the rookies are bottom four in completion percentage and the only ones under 60%

5. FB cycle

Kyle Juszczyk is currently averaging 35 receiving yards per game through 7 games, on pace for 560 receiving yards. That would be the most receiving yards by a FB since Larry Centers had 620 in 2001.
