We could use a hand.

It would be great to have poker back on the forum. Unfortunately our last provider closed down in June.

Now while there are options out there, there are no options that we have found that are not attached to actual gaming sites .....and I don't want members to have to sign up/provide details to any gaming site as you will only be spammed.

So to what we need.

A Poker format that

  • we can play tournaments on.
  • is not linked to a gambling enterprise
  • Ideally can be linked to the forum (click and log in).

I am more than happy to pay a reasonable amount.

We appreciate your help! :ok:

I'm a web developer with nearly a decade of experience. I'd be happy to build you an enterprise grade C# Web Application to play poker and seamlessly integrate into the IPB forum software your using. PM me and we can work out the details. I estimate this project to take roughly 3-4 weeks for the initial product. And an additional week of polish and bug fixing after its released into the wild to all users.

Have been doing some research today, and it seems that the two lanes we can go down are either going to require some form of registration/log-in credentials, or we can host a new out-of-the-box/bespoke solution--bypassing this. As per below...

Ben, I'm sure of all the capabilities, but it looked more along the lines of what we had vs. a direct online gaming site.

I reached out to a former colleague in the online gambling sector and he replied:

"To be honest I only know the gambling ones! My suggestion would be to set up home games on pokerstars and opt out of all marketing comms when signing up. GDPR laws mean that stars can’t harass you like they would have a year ago!"
