Hi All!

I had the great good fortune of attending the Saturday night show in CT, USA. It's now somewhere in my top 5 or 10 lifetime concert experiences...and I've attended more than a few musical events in my time on this rock.

Fantastic musicianship and classic weird Byrne choreography on a very sparse stage.

Looks like he's coming to UK/Europe in late October and early November, and Asia/NZ/Aus in November as well.

I can't recommend it enough! :)

I was intrigued by this - is he playing a good amount of Talking Heads stuff or mostly solo material? I don’t care much for the latter...

Of 20 or so songs, 7 or 8 were Talking Heads material. If you really don't like his solo stuff, it may not be for you.

But it may be...

Nice to see someone from Connecticut.

I've seen him on several different tours and he is amazing. I second going to see him.

He seems to get a better reception in London for his stage shows.

one of the few regrets from my time in london - just after i arrived, sealbasher friends were off to see some mob called talking heads. i had stuff on and declined. they were still raving 12 months later.

On my radar if he tours down here.

Looks like Gold Coast is closest to you Pres. Nov. 21.

I would so enjoy any concert with David Byrne. Have loved his albums since the beginning with TH, the various ones with fantastic illustration on the front and even Tom Tom Club where he was back up vocals.

Like David Bowie or Paul Simon, he changes with decades. As long as he sings, I would be happy to even watch it on video and listen to it anywhere.

Thanks for the update!

Once there were parking lots, now it's a peaceful oasis / This was a Pizza Hut, now it's all covered with daisies / I miss the honky-tonks, Dairy Queens and 7-Elevens”
