Rob has commented previously on the fact that we are starting to see Code dates a mere 2, 3 or 4 months old, which has not been the case previously but is no doubt due to supply issues.  My question--and strike me down if it has been asked and answered already (mea culpa!)--any thoughts on whether the standard advice on waiting still holds or are you guys seeing these freshies coming in really hot and in need of an extended down time?

I think the general consensus is to try one if it's no good put the box away and try again in a month or so's time

I have some Siglo II's coming my way with a MAY 18 box date, the youngest in my humi.  By the time I wait 3 months to acclimate, they'll be 7 months from box date.  That should be good enough to take a sample
