What do you guys think? Both same code and date. Different wood grain, one stamp is heavier the other is clear. One slightly rosado the other a darker shade. What are the flavor differences?

Maybe @JohnS can chime in as a veteran smoker of these :cigar:

It's difficult to say for sure the difference in flavours judging by wrapper type (as the one one left is colorado/colorado rosado and the one on the left is colorado claro to me). I guess what I'm looking for when I smoke these is a shortbread biscuit-type core with some floral and citrus notes. When they are around medium in strength (and above) I find that the core tobacco flavours take over. Hence, I have left my current box to rest awhile, although I did sneak one last week! ;)

I would be inclined to smoke around 5 to 10 each from each box and leave the others to rest. Taste and compare and see how it turns out.

I'm doing a comparison of both right now, couldn't resist! But so far spot on. Core flavors are there but the tobacco is taking over on the claro one. Last time I had a Demi Tasse it was slightly darker than the rosado and its flavors prompted me to purchase these boxes. I'll see how that one goes in a bit.
