stogieluver Posted May 14, 2018 Posted May 14, 2018 My wife and I will be flying into Miami two weeks from today around noon. Leaving the next morning. Looking for something to do that afternoon and a nice place to eat dinner. What would you do?
El Presidente Posted May 14, 2018 Posted May 14, 2018 If you have time for a cigar, I would head back here in a heartbeat. https://www.yelp.com/biz/casa-de-montecristo-by-prime-cigar-and-whiskey-bar-miami 1
hedgeybaby Posted May 14, 2018 Posted May 14, 2018 South beach is a great place to pick up cohibas. 1
tigger Posted May 14, 2018 Posted May 14, 2018 Calle Ocho for Cafe Cubano and a locally rolled cigar. El Titan de Bonze is an interesting small cigar factory. 1
rabidraccoon Posted May 16, 2018 Posted May 16, 2018 +1 for El Titan de Bronze. I’ve been going there for a long time. Very nice people. They have their own house lines of cigars with different blends. You should go during the day though because they close at 5 pm. For the evenings I like Guantanamera cigars also in little Havana but in the tour bus zone. Despite being in that super touristy strip, their blends are also very good and its a chill place to hang out and smoke. A stroll around Miami Beach is nice at night. Tons of places to eat/walk/drink around there. It’s always pretty lively and happening. 1
Habana Mike Posted May 17, 2018 Posted May 17, 2018 Definitely hit Calle Ocho and Rob's recommendation is spot on for an after-dinner smoke and drink. Suggest you drop in to the Cubaocho bar and museum. Great Cuban food right across the street at Old's Havana Cuban Bar & Cocina, just next to the Maximo Gomez Park - dominoes central. Another spot for an open-air smoke in South Beach is Deco Drive Cigars on the Lincoln Road Mall.
Jimmy_jack Posted May 17, 2018 Posted May 17, 2018 Titan de Bronze makes some great cigars and blends. They are a roller for Kyle Gelys of Warped and handle his El Oso line. Very good cigar. 1
