The Glenlivet Master Distiller's Reserve Small Batch

have not come across these before. wondering if anyone familiar with the series. a friend just gave me one - Batch 9378/007 to be specific. yet to try it but will report back but thought some members might be more familiar.

Lol!  Ken...I think you and I are destined to drink whiskey together!  Yes...I have some in the liquor cabinet.  I don’t think it’s exceptional stuff but at least it doesn’t break the bank like some other whiskies can/do.  I’ll take a look later to see what number I have and report back.

I certainly don’t want to poo-poo this bottle.  It is good single malt.  In fact, given the limited production, I almost feel that it’s a better expression to the Signet we were talking about the other day, yet not a better scotch.
