fastkiller13 Posted March 20, 2018 Posted March 20, 2018 Hello good friends, If anybody grabbed a screen shot or if one of the mods could find the info. I'm looking for the box codes and dates of the aged sampler pack. I downloaded a PDF but seem to have deleted it and I would really like to label the cigars. I know it was a Tuesday 24:24 so probably 3/6/18 Australian date. Thanks in advance guys, Ted

FatPete Posted March 24, 2018 Posted March 24, 2018 a question for our more veteran FOHers - has anyone tried any of these cigars with these box codes before? Or indeed any of the sampler? I'm going to let mine sit in the humidor for a few months.
JohnS Posted March 25, 2018 Posted March 25, 2018 I have enjoyed sampling them. Some were, in regards to flavour, satisfactory in my expectations, some exceeded my expectations and others frankly surprised me in terms of their strength. For me, the most outstanding cigar smoking experience was the Romeo y Julieta Short Churchills, whilst the Partagas Serie D No.4 and Montecristo Petit Edmundo were very satisfying because I enjoy those cigars with some long-term rest. None of the cigars were disappointing. Perhaps the aged Cohiba Secretos failed to connect with my palate, but it was still fine to smoke. I guess I wouldn't necessarily reach for a cigar like this that often. I'd prefer a natural-wrappered Cohiba. 2 2

One I don't rate the short Churchills fresh very high but this gives me the idea to bury them and hope I can replicate your experience. The second is Cohiba (minus the Secretos) I would have expected to taste the best of the bunch after 10 years. I'm going to find it hard to keep my hands of my sampler ! 1

Well they were fine but I've been spoilt for better. Perhaps yours will exceed your expectations!
Fuzz AI Posted March 27, 2018 Posted March 27, 2018 Feel like I should go digging around my humidor for those Siglo VIs I got 10 years ago.
