I'm going to be a smartarse and butt in with a guess that it's a Francis Bacon reference. Though why is beyond me... I'll leave it to the OP.

I saw a Francis Bacon exhibition at del Prado in Madrid, must have been ten years ago. Agree on interesting, not sure it would fit in my home though Welcome!
