Cuaba Bariay

A good friend just gave me a box of Cuaba Bariay #80/1000 I think, they look beautiful and the smell is impeccable, 

 

whats your our take on them?.

A real collector's piece, those Habanos Collection books aren't easy to come by.  Sounds like a hell of a good friend! Judging by the size of the bariay, I would need 3+ hours to smoke one.

He also gave me a Partagas Seires E No.2 leather humidor set of 10??, I consider him family, one of the best people I know!

Did your friend also gift you a Partagas Serie E No.1 Habanos Collection Series too? If so, (that's) amazing generosity!

But seriously, since they were a gift, I would feel weird considering ever selling them, and since I think almost all of these are in the hands of collectors, I say light one up and see for yourself. Smoke one a year and post the review online and you will probably be the world's foremost expert on Cuaba Bariays.

I’d never sell them!! Plus they look and smell so good! I might just do that... I do have a camcorder I never got around to using

Just be sure to edit the video down. I like Cuabas and those large format 'A' type cigars, but there is no way I would watch you smoke one for 3 hours.

I think Rob and Ken made a video review few years ago.

If I am not wrong they, or at least Ken, didnt like it.

I am a Cuaba fan, probably would like it but there is the price issue.

Smoked one back when they came out at LCDH Stuttgart. Wasn't a fan but at least it kind of tasted like a Cuaba (which is probably why I didn't like it).

We were gifted one at the Habanos festival in 2012 . When I smoked it a couple of years later I realised it was too soon
