Popular Post 99call Posted October 26, 2017 Popular Post Posted October 26, 2017 Appearance; Nice sandy rosado wrapper. slight box press, Aroma cold: Lovely floral honey sweetness, bit of dry dank wood 1st Third: Slightly tight draw, but in my opinion key to a successful build of a Lonsdale. Slightly watery first 1cm, Pencil shavings and hints towards the marzipane thats on the way. Rich confectionary twangs of cola bottle sweets of the foot, but none in the draw. 2nd Third: The cigar opens up fully as corona size. The cigar strangely (and very pleasantly) splits into three trains. The cola bottle, sweet new cardboard, milk chocolate (in my opinion classic monty profile) streams off the foot. The draw is marzipane, and blue felt tip (white board) marker pen, (think sweet almond ketones chemical smell) The finish is astringent pencil shaving/driftwood, and a slightly minerally fresh rocket Final Third: The ketone almonds amps up, cream comes in and twang of the dry woods, easily rivals the Des Dieux in class. ZERO SALT!? Final Thoughts: Along with Des Dieux, Quay D'Orsay line, Diplomaticos LIne and long format LGC & ERDM , this is a cigar which offers something that all of itself. By that, I mean I think It's a great cigar to hunt down as it flavour profile is in a spectrum, thats not really replicated by other cigars. It's also a cigar that is very full on in it's flavours, your not saying to yourself "hmm did I just pick up a slightly woodsy note?" your in a saw mill struggling for air. This one was great, the one I smoked the other day was in my top 10. 4 1
