HOLMES VAPORIZER PIPE

Created to celebrate Peterson of Dublin's 150th anniversary and to honor its Sherlock Holmes line of tobacco pipes, the Holmes Vaporizer Pipe updates the detective's signature accessory for modern times. It adopts the lines of the character's deerstalker hunting cap for the "bowl", which has an LED indicator that glows orange when you take a drag and buttons on the interior to control the flavor strength. It also has a redesigned mouth piece, intake, and trigger, and charges wirelessly when placed on its stand.

Think Peterson’s got some free publicity on this one, I was on my way into the city tomorrow to ask questions! 065c0ab153756761aa37302f7919e3f8.png

Only long after the rest of cigar producing world has been there and done that  :wink2:

What, no Meerschaum?

As to vapor Habanos (not to be confused with the vaporware Habanos on the last few new releases lists that everyone has been asking after for as many years), I suspect that the average Habanos smoker is too much like me- interested in smoking for the opposite set of qualities than the select few that vaping replicates. Far be it from me to accuse Habanos of understanding their audience terribly well, but I do expect they'll understand this question. I doubt it would take much market research at all to determine that very few Habanos enthusiasts will have any interest in vapor cigars.

Or maybe I'm completely wrong and I'm the only one who's interested in cigars for flavors, textures and aesthetics and everyone else just wants a really expensive nicotine fix... ?

Who knows

but I think they should concentrate on what there doing at the moment, but having said that I tend to agree with Colt

but at the end of the day it all comes down to the Juice they put in it

if they can nail that I’d say there on a winner

I am somewhat surprised that Tabacuba (maybe it is HSA's doing) can run a website!

Where exactly does the oxcart and injection molded plastics and micro electronics world come together? China... not Cuba.

Now if they had half a brain, they might license the Habanos name to something like they did with the Habanero ST Dupont lighter collection. Working on less then half a brain over there, it will only be after someone in China is selling it on the internet that they will think it is a good idea!

The question is... What flavor profile will it have? Complex 42 ring Lonsdale, or fat, tunneling, double banded crap??? -LOL

Steve - O, I should note that I'm just poking a little fun, but as food for thought / discussion......

Given the Cuban cigar industry's design over the years to reduce or eliminate a number of less expensive "regular" cigars with fewer, more expensive "premium" cigars, if they could basically eliminate the tobacco altogether, and make money selling "vapor", would they do it?

Call me old fashioned . . . but I think I'll wait for the Regional, Double Banded edition of that pipe . . . :lookaround::P
