It wasn't exactly a landslide. 211 to 198 is a tight vote of you ask me, but nevertheless. Off to Congress it goes and then to the Prez. Not our Prez here, but the Don our Prez. LOL During our live chat smoke we were discussing this very thing. How the FDA and other administrations and governments abroad are making it harder to let us enjoy our hobby. This is kinda eye opening for me. I'm more inclined now to call a senator or congressman than ever before. Can you imagine? Clandestine smokes? Glad we're still winning some of these small battles. Cheers, Javi 1

ElPuro Posted September 15, 2017 Posted September 15, 2017 Is because they are tying to an annual appropriations bill, which is easier than standalone legislation.

ElPuro Posted September 15, 2017 Posted September 15, 2017 Point is that by using that process it means very little. No stability. Also not an indicator of "real" congressional support as stated.

ElPuro Posted September 15, 2017 Posted September 15, 2017 No. It's good news. The article overstates, tho.
ElJavi76 Posted September 15, 2017 Author Posted September 15, 2017 I did point out that 211 to 198 is hardly a resounding victory. Additionally this still needs to get thru Senate and then President. Half full thinks... It's still a victory. Half empty sees the instability and this is def not a long term solution. Credence to both sides.
