Popular Post Akela3rd Posted June 4, 2017 Popular Post Posted June 4, 2017 Late bid on this one, because no-one else has. You've probably got a few knocking about and with good reason. They're cheap and in the right situation they're a good choice. This one comes from a May '14 box I picked up at the start of the year and I'm 2/3 of the way through it. A great cigar for doing other stuff with, I took a few with me last week for a camping and fishing trip - today I'm sorting out the lawn after relaying the turf a couple of weeks ago.The wrapper is a bit knarly, the cigar slightly soft to the touch, the draw is perfect. It's not complicated - toasted tobacco, touch of woody background, very slight pepperyness, medium strength - and that's it start to finish. These can be rough young, but this one's very smooth. It's very tasty, it hits the spot and it doesn't need to be over analyzed. 45 minutes of Cuban cigar for a couple of quid - can't argue with that. Thunder & Lightening '75-'15 6
TheMonk Posted June 4, 2017 Posted June 4, 2017 You really can't argue with that, very solid stick for the price!
PigFish Posted June 5, 2017 Posted June 5, 2017 Sounds like a fair review! Nice to see something like this show up in a review. Cheers! -Piggy
