Popular Post El Hoze Posted March 28, 2017 Popular Post Posted March 28, 2017 I got curious w these new boxes of SW and lit one up only a week or so after I got them, grabbed the most hideous one I had. The draw was a little on the tight side of the acceptable range...very slightly tighter than I like it but I prefer tight to loose, esp on churchills. The burn a little wobbly by my standards but I am OCD and this thing is fresh off the truck - didn't need any help though. The taste though, awesome. No doubt awesome HU SW, zero mistake. Killer. 5
Cubatabaco Posted March 28, 2017 Posted March 28, 2017 Awesome! When you say "new", how new are talking?
El Hoze Posted March 29, 2017 Author Posted March 29, 2017 Ah, whoops, hey that would be relevant info for sure (had a few beers w the first cigar of the night a super old VR Clasicos): this was PTR NOV 16. I had posted some pics separately earlier in the week. This thing is good, super good.
JohnS Posted March 29, 2017 Posted March 29, 2017 That's excellent! Thanks for the feedback @El Hoze! It's great to know that this was good despite being only 4 months young. 1
Cubatabaco Posted March 29, 2017 Posted March 29, 2017 Glad to see them with a current box code. Cheers and glad you enjoyed it!
El Hoze Posted March 29, 2017 Author Posted March 29, 2017 I am a bit of an older cigar guy but find young SW very nice one of the reasons I love them, this was definitely that! 1
jschrader510 Posted March 29, 2017 Posted March 29, 2017 Thanks for sharing, hoping to pick up a box once I can find them.
Thomasdenaro Posted March 29, 2017 Posted March 29, 2017 thank you for sharing, one day, i will get a box of Sir Winston's if im lucky enough.
NSXCIGAR Posted March 29, 2017 Posted March 29, 2017 Good to hear some positive feedback as there were some very mixed reviews for the very limited 15 production last seen. Thanks for the review and let us know how the other 24 compare.

I am not exactly the most articulate flavor guy but that kind of bread/biscuit quality I find in many HU was there the whole time along with more subtle tastes along the way. I would mention that I smoked it down nearly to the nub w not much harshness at the end. I tend to pitch them once I get much sign of that at the end and this went a considerable distance for a young cigar. 2
