Very nice!  I always keep my eye on Craigslist for Humidors.  The biggest miss I had of all time was an Aristocrat tower for $200--missed it by about a half hour.  Awesome find--cigars a bonus!

I was lucky enough to pick this used Avallo. The price was too good to pass up. The owner just happened to include the rest of his cigars since he quit smoking. Luckily it also came with the Accumonitor. Hopefully it won't fill up too quickly. a427d893de6ec9b6b28794caaad53ab2.jpg

Correct. Not everyday you find an Avallo on CL so I'm pleased.

I have one.  Works like a champ.  Very happy with it.  Enjoy!

Thanks! The Accumonitor canisters do seem a bit overkill though. I live in a fairly humid climate (50-80%). Probably going to stick with some 65% Bovedas.

I am sure that will work.  FWIW I live in a very humid (summertime) climate.  I use the canisters and have had no issues.  Stays 62-63% (right in my sweet spot) year round with minor temp fluctuations.  Keep us posted on how it is working for you!  Cheers!

You can use 1 canister versus 2 if you think 2 is overkill and remember the fans will only spin when the RH% drops below the setpoint.

So if the ambient RH is high, then the fans won't be running that much...and you won't be filling with distilled that often.

Nice purchase.  The RyJ Churchills are my all time favorite.  They may have been worth the price of the humidor alone.
